Police are trying to figure out who buried the body of a newborn in a shallow grave near Detroit. A man doing yard work spotted the grave and dug-up the body Sunday night. Clay Township police assume the mother lives in the area or has family there, but they don't have any leads. "It could be young girl in trouble, you know that got pregnant and disposed of the baby. It could be somebody else who is a troubled person, we just want to reach out to them to get them the help they need," said Clay Township Chief Don Drake. Police don't know how or when the baby died. The body is badly decomposed and investigators can't tell if it was a boy or girl or even what the child's race was.
