NEW INFORMATION: Cedar Village Shooting Victim Dies

One of the victims of an overnight shooting in a Cedar Village apartment near the the MSU campus has died.

The East Lansing Police Department identified the victim as 20-year-old Dominique James Nolff, an MSU student from Middleville, Michigan.

Nolff was pronounced dead at 9:23 a.m. resulting from multiple gunshot wounds.

The second victim has been treated for a single gunshot wound and has been released from the hospital. He is identified only as 20-year-old MSU student from Grand Haven.

Police were called to the Cedar Village apartment Friday at 8:48 p.m. Both victims were in the apartment.

The suspect is still at large. He is described as a black male, approximately 20-25 years old, wearing tan pants, a black coat and black shoes or boots.
