Murderer Running For Office

Would you vote for a convicted murderer?
There's one running for a seat on the Jackson County Board of Commissioners later this year.
Larry O'Neill pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for shooting Derwood McComb in 1975.
He was 18-years old at the time and was just paroled last May.
O'Neill calls it a quote "terrible mistake."
He's running as a Democrat in the county's seventh district against Adam Shelton and Timothy Mahoney in the Democratic primary.
