A 20-year-old Canadian man is behind bars in Eaton County, accused of kidnapping a young Kansas girl he had met on-line.
Kenneth Steward McGill was arrested by state police troopers late Friday afternoon northwest of Charlotte in Chester Township. Also in the car was 12-year-old Brandy T. Gray of El Dorado, Kansas.
An Amber Alert was issued today after Gray was reported kidnapped from her Kansas home, despite the fact that authorities suspect she went willingly with McGill.
Police say the pair had met on the internet..
Gray has been turned over to the Department of Human Services.
