UPDATE: Missing Girl Found - Ingham County

The Ingham County Sheriff's Department Delhi Division has sent out notification that Jamia Janay Tyson has been located. They announced that she has been reunited with her mother, and thanked the Lansing Police Department and citizens of Ingham County for their assistance in locating Jamia.


From the Ingham County Sheriff's Office Delhi Division:

"The Ingham County Sheriff's Office Delhi Division is investigating a missing juvenile. Jamia Janay Tyson, black female, born June 25, 2000 has been missing since April 20, 2013 after she had an argument with her mother. She has been seen over the last week in the Lansing area on North Turner Street. Jamia was also seen on Bradley Street in the City of Lansing.

Jamia is 5'5" 140 lbs. She was last seen wearing a grey jacket and blue jeans. She has also in the past been seen at the CATA bus station in the City of Lansing.

Jamia is originally from Taylor Michigan and it is possible she will head back to Taylor. Jamia also goes by the first name of Mia.
