Michiganders Voice Their Concern Over Continued Shutdown, Debt Ceiling

After more than two weeks of a government shutdown and now threats of the country defaulting for the first time ever, folks in Michigan say enough is enough. People in want Congress to do its job.

A poll conducted by the Marketing Resource Group in Lansing last week found that 46 percent of folks in Michigan blame Republicans in Congress for the Shutdown, while 36 percent blame the president.

If Wednesday a deal is reached, will people in Michigan accept another short term extension of the gridlock in Washington? What is Congressman Mike Rogers saying? These are questions we are looking into and will have the latest on WILX News Ten at 6 p.m.
