The entire 140-page document breaking down Governor Snyder's proposal for Michigan's budget is available online.
It is available at www.michigan.gov/budget. It is a PDF file, so you have to have Adobe on your computer to open it.
Some of Governor Rick Snyder's proposals include a 1% increase to K-12 education, a 3% increase in funding to community colleges and public universities, an extra $50 million for public safety funding, $25 million for the Pure Michigan campaign, and an increase in funding for the arts.
We will have more on today's budget proposal announcement on News 10 at 5 & 6 tonight.
