With the new "Save a Life, Give a Lane" campaign, Michigan State Police is reminding drivers to switch lanes when they see a police officer or emergency vehicle stopped on the side of the highway.

MSP Lansing Post Tpr. Drew Spencer is sharing his story in radio and television public service announcements set to air starting Labor Day weekend. Spencer was hit during a traffic stop on I-96 nearly two years ago and sustained life-threatening injuries.

The campaign is in conjunction with the Office of Highway Safety Planning to promote the 'Move Over' law. For more on the new campaign, watch News 10 at 5.
