One of Michigan's historical landmarks is getting a nod from Architectural Digest.

The Grand Hotel was recently named one of the Top 10 Most Idyllic Resorts in the United States by the magazine.

It got the honor for its bold interiors, the 600 ft. long front porch, and its history in film, including movies like Somewhere in Time and This Time for Keeps.

Mark Twain even lectured in the property's casino in 1895.
