A man has died after being shot on the 2500 block of Newark early this morning.
Lansing Police say man had been sitting in a vehicle when he was shot, shortly after 3 a.m.
The victim, Domonique Ardister, 29, was having trouble breathing when police arrived.
He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say this was not a random shooting.
Investigators are talking with witnesses and following leads.
Another man was injured in a second shooting.
This man, a 21-year-old Lansing resident, arrived at a hospital at about 1:30 a.m.
He told police he had been shot by an unknown person at a grocery store near the intersection of Willow and Comfort.
He is being treated for his wounds.
No one is in custody in either incident; Police say they do not appear to be related.
