Lansing, MI - A Lansing man is in the hospital after being shot this morning.

Just after 3 a.m., the victim stumbled into the Quality Dairy in the 400 block of South Pennsylvania.

Lansing Police tell News Ten that he had been shot in the leg. His injuries are non-life threatening.

No word on where the shooting happened, but police say witnesses told them the man was shot on 8th Street. Police are still checking into that claim.

However, they do say they don't think the shooting is random. They believe the shooter and victim know each other, but say the victim isn't cooperating.

They are hunting for the suspect.

Earlier this morning, police surrounded a home on Maloney Street in the search for the suspect.

After questioning those inside, police left the home. No arrests were made. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
