Man Robs Lansing Walgreens

Lansing Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a south-side Walgreens.

At around 6:30 a.m. Friday, a man entered the Walgreens on the 400 block of E. Jolly Rd., according to a store employee. The man approached the counter with an item he wished to buy.

When the employee rang up the item, the suspect offered money to complete the purchase. When the cash register opened, the suspect grabbed money from the open drawer and left the store.

The suspect was last seen walking north from the store. The employee was not injured.

The suspect is described as an approximately 30-year-old white male with shoulder length dark hair, brown eyes. He weighs about 180 lbs. and stands 5’10” to 6’1” in height. He was seen wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
