A man impersonating a police officer robbed a driver at gunpoint Monday evening.
The victim was driving on Pennsylvania Ave. around 11:00 p.m., when the man saw flashing lights behind him. He pulled over, and the suspect approached his car and pointed a gun at him. The suspect demanded his wallet, keys, and cell phone. The suspect told the victim to walk away from his car, at which point the suspect returned to his vehicle and drove off. The male victim was not hurt.
Lansing police are offering advice on what to look out for if you are pulled over to make sure it's legitimate.
New 10's Shannon Kantner will have all the details on WILX at 6:00.
