One man is in the hospital and his step-brother is in custody after a shooting last night.
Lansing police say the victim was at the step-brother's house on the 2100 block of Ferrol Street when they got into an argument at about 10 p.m. Tuesday.
The fight turned physical, and then the step-brother shot the other man, according to police.
When officers arrived, the 53-year-old step-brother was taken into custody.
The matter has been forwarded to the prosecutor's office for warrants, and possibly an arraignment.
The victim, also 53, is in the hospital with a non-life threatening wound to his upper shoulder area.
