DETROIT (AP) -- Authorities say a man has died after being shot during a Cinco de Mayo parade in Detroit.
Detroit police officer Adam Madera said a 19-year-old man was pronounced dead at a hospital after a shooting on Sunday afternoon. Madera says no other injuries have been reported.
Madera says a 24-year-old man has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting.
MLive.com and WXYZ-TV report the annual parade on the city's southwest side was shut down after the shooting.
