OREGON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- Lapeer County authorities say a 56-year-old man has drowned after diving from his boat in the Flint River's Holloway Reservoir.
The sheriff's department says the victim is 56-year-old Clarence Reynolds of Lapeer.
The Holloway Reservoir in Genesee and Lapeer counties is part of the Flint River system, 12 miles northeast of Flint.
WXYZ-TV (http://bit.ly/1AMZJCQ ) says Reynolds dived head-first into shallow water about 5:30 p.m. Saturday and failed to return. The sheriff's department says a friend called 911, and a dive team found the body about 7:45 p.m.
