The Washtenaw County sheriff's department says a 20-year-man has died after being pulled from a lake.
The Ann Arbor News says rescuers pulled the man's body from Independence Lake on Saturday afternoon, and he was pronounced dead at the University of Michigan Hospital.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Joyce Williams says it took search crews about 45 minutes to find the man.
The lake is in Webster Township, about 10 miles north-northwest of Ann Arbor.
The department didn't immediately release the man's name.
