One man has been charged with criminal sexual conduct for an alleged assault earlier this week in East Lansing.
Police say that at 10:48 p.m. Sunday, they received a 911 phone call from a woman who screamed for help and said "Charlie Kang's, 127 East Grand River. Please come help me."
When officers arrived, they found the rear entrance to the restaurant open, and heard a woman calling for help from the bathroom when they went inside.
The officers weren't able to immediately get into the restroom because the door was locked; however, they say they say a woman on the floor, partially unclothed, and a naked man standing over her.
The suspect was arrested once officers were able to get into the bathroom.
Both the suspect and the employees were employees at the restaurant.
The suspect is 32-year-old Manuel Antonio-Alvarado Espino.
He has been charged with two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct First Degree, one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct Sexual Second Degree, one count of unlawful imprisonment, and one count of Interfering with Electronic Communications by the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office.
Antonio-Alvarado Espino is also being held on an immigration detainer through the Department of Homeland Security.
