EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan State University says it has launched a new hotline and an internet site so that anyone affiliated with the East Lansing school can "anonymously report any form of misconduct to authorities."
The university says the phone number is 800-763-0764, and the online site is http://misconduct.msu.edu .
Michigan State says the phone number and Internet site allow anonymous reports of misconduct in a number of areas. The school says they include athletics, conflicts of interest, discrimination and harassment, fiscal misconduct, medical, privacy, research, safety and "any issue of compliance."
The university says this expands a fiscal misconduct hotline that it started in 2005.
