FLINT, Mich. (AP) -- Broadcasters report a Michigan State Police trooper has been wounded in a shooting in Flint.
TV stations WEYI and WNEM report that the shooting happened early Wednesday and a suspect as taken into custody.
WNEM says the trooper was transported to a hospital and was expected to recover.
A person who answered the phone at a Michigan State Police communications facility Wednesday morning says additional information is expected to be released later in the day.
