The lottery announced Thursday that the winning ticket to Wednesday's drawing was sold at Bonser's of Custer. Custer is a village of about 280 people, about 10 miles east of Ludington.
The Michigan Lottery says it doesn't yet know the winner's identity.

The winner can choose a one-time before-tax payment of $8.5 million or 30 annual payments totaling $13.3 million before taxes.
