Local Easter Egg Hunts This Weekend

By  |

Saturday's weather should be perfect for a little Easter family fun.

Three mid-Michigan communities are holding Easter egg hunts for kids under the age of twelve.

The Lansing Jaycees will cover the State Capitol lawn in downtown Lansing with thousands of eggs--- and provide activities from 10am until noon. The actual hunt starts at 11am and will consist of two areas for age groups 0-4 and 5-12 years.

The Holt Kiwanis Club will put eggs out for kids in the Delhi Township community at 1pm at Valhalla Park. Each age group will have a designated area and start times will be staggered. There will also be an Easter Bonnet Parade and contest.

Williamston’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is on Saturday, March 30, at 10 am in McCormick Park, for preschool age to 5th grade children. Hunt for eggs, get face painting, and win prizes! Free, and open to all.
