"When Cayden Taipalus witnessed a classmate get denied a hot lunch because he had no money on his lunch account, it struck a chord with Cayden. He said the experience made him "sad" and he realized he wanted to do something about it. Cayden started collecting cans and bottles and quickly made $64. Cayden and his mother also started a FundRazr account called "Pay it Forward: No Kid Goes Hungry." In just two short months, Cayden has received donations from all over the world and to date, has raised over $30,000!

A Michigan elementary school student will be featured on the "Steve Harvey" talk show on Tuesday, April 22.
Cayden Taipalus, a third-grader at Challenger Elementary in Howell, MI will talk to Steve about a program he started called "Pay it Forward: No Kid Goes Hungry."
Cayden started the initiative to help raise funds for children in school who cannot afford lunch, after he saw a student at his school who wasn't able to pay for his lunch. Cayden will be joined on the show by his mother, Amber Peters.
