Livingston County PNC Bank Robbed

FROM LIVINGSTON CO. SHERIFF'S OFFICE :

"On March 18, 2013 at approximately 9:40 AM, the PNC bank located at 8130 W. Grand River Ave in Brighton Township was robbed.

A sole W/M gunman entered the bank wearing a baggie black or dark blue and tan or gray colored hooded coat with dark colored wind breaker type pants and dark colored gloves. The coat had unique black or blue and white stripes wrapped around the elbow area. The suspect also had a dark colored scarf type garment around his mouth and wore dark colored sunglasses. The suspect is described as being approximately 5'-6" tall and small in stature.

Upon entering the bank the suspect presented a dark colored semi-automatic handgun while demanding money. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of currency. The Sheriff's K-9 team was contacted and a track was attempted with negative results.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in this incident. If anyone can identify the suspect they are urged to contact Det. Jim McGinty at 517-540-7999 or CRIME STOPPERS at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
The Sheriff Department was assisted in this investigation by both the Brighton City Police Dept. and the FBI. "
