Three lifeguards are being honored for helping save a young boy from drowning.

Theresa Bodwin, Robert Murphy and Jane Wallenwine will be recognized Thursday by Meridian Twp. and the Mid-Michigan Chapter of the Red Cross for their lifesaving skills.

The three lifeguards helped pull a young boy from the pool at the Michigan Athletic Club in late July.

Three paramedics were honored in August for what they did to help.
