TYRONE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- The last of five quintuplets born last month to a Tyrone Township couple is now home.
The quintuplets were born Sept. 5 to Jessica and Robert Hicks at Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. The Livingston County Daily Press & Argus reports ( http://bit.ly/1bb0Spi ) that Emmett Hicks joined his siblings late last week after Sept. 30 heart surgery.
Jessica Hicks says their two-bedroom, 1,100-square-foot home is "bursting at the seams." They have enough room in for three cribs, so four of the babies sleep next to a sibling. Newcomer Emmett sleeps alone. They also have a 3-year-old son.
She says the babies use 30 to 40 diapers a day.
