Lansing Twp To Announce Name, Businesses Of Eastwood Expansion

A big announcement is expected to come today from those overseeing the development and expansion at the Eastwood Towne Center in Lansing Township.

The director of planning and development for Lansing Township is expected to not only announce two new restaurants, but to also outline plans for more than a hundred new luxury apartments and unveil the name of the expansion project.

The expansion site is just north of the Eastwood Towne Center. When construction is finished in that area, there will be new stores, restaurants, and a parking structure. Lansing Township is using about $20 million in municipal bonds, as well as approximately $40 million in private funds to develop the site.

They're hoping to complete construction by September of this year, just in time for the 10 year anniversary of Eastwood Towne Center opening in Lansing Township.
