Lansing Schools Beating Summer Slump

The Lansing Public School district is getting students excited about reading. The district launched a Summer Reading Van on Tuesday that will drive to area schools and let students pick up two free book as well as worksheets. Educators say the pilot program is an important way to keep students engaged over the summer. They're hoping it will also payoff when classes resume in the fall.
