Lansing United has announced the schedule for their first season of the new professional soccer team.
Team owner Jeremy Sampson says "We are looking forward to our inaugural season and to have our first two games at home is exciting. Our schedule will have some fun tie ins this season with a game on the 4th if July and we end the regular season on the same day as the World Cup final."
The team's head coach and general manager Eric Rudland, and the team will play its eight home games next spring at the East Lansing complex, otherwise known as Nick Archer Stadium. The complex has two fields, one with lights and one without and it seats 700.
Lansing United begins play next spring in the National Premier Soccer League. Player tryouts are April 5, and 19.
