Lansing City Council to Vote on Veto Override

The Lansing City Council will try an override the mayor's budget veto at its meeting, tonight.

The council's budget was voted through 5-3 on May 20th, but six votes are needed for an override. One of Kathie Dunbar, Tina Houghton or Jessica Yorko will have to change their vote.

The council technically has until the end of the week to vote through an override, but unless another meeting is scheduled, tonight will be the last chance.
