"I wish this were a _____."
That's what is all over the side of a long-empty party store on Kalamazoo Street in Lansing.
It's a project from the Ingham County Land Bank and several other groups, hoping to get the public input on what to do with the Paro Building.
"You really can't be out here without somebody stopping by and wanting to know what's going on," says Eric Schertzing, Ingham County Treasurer. "This was an ugly eyesore that was a den of crime and activity and we've made it into something beautiful and now we're engaging the community to find out what it should be in the future."
Among the many suggestions-- a movie theater, an ethnic restaurant, a coffee shop and a music store.
