Lake Michigan Paddle Board

A trio of young adults has successfully paddle-boarded across Lake Michigan from Wisconsin to Michigan, but charitable donations are still rolling in.
Twenty-one-year-old Ginny Melby tells that she and her fellow paddle-boarders have raised more than $7,000 in donations. Melby and brothers Craig and Trent Masselink hoped to raise $1,000 for Restore International, a charity focusing on social justice issues in Uganda.
Melby say they are still receiving money.
The Masselinks and Melby expected the 80-mile trip that began July 7 in Milwaukee's McKinley Beach would take 30 hours.
They arrived near their families' cottages in Norton Shores, near Muskegon, in just over 23 hours.
