Lansing Police have no suspects in connection with two unrelated, overnight shootings.
A woman was walking back to her car in the area of Baker St. and Donora St. around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. She heard numerous gunshots and got in her vehicle and left the area.
Once she had driven away, she realized she had been shot in the leg. She was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Police are canvassing the area to look for leads but say they have little information.
In a separate incident, a Lansing resident was sitting at home around 2:40 a.m. on the 1700 block of Theodore St. Sunday morning when he heard numerous shots fired. Upon walking outside his home, he noticed bullet holes in the structure.
Police suspect a drive-by shooting and say they don't believe the act was random. They have no information on the car or the people inside.
