LCC Sharing Job-Training Grant

By  |

Lansing Community College is going to be working with local employers to help students get trained for and find jobs.

It's one of nine schools around the state splitting a 26-million dollar federal grant.

The program is focused on fields like advanced manufacturing, transportation, health care and engineering.

The private sector helped pick them based on its needs.

The schools will align the curriculum to make sure the training is consistent statewide.
