LUDINGTON, Mich. (AP) -- Jury selection is under way for the trial of a West Michigan father in the disappearance last year of his baby daughter.
The Ludington Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/HM41RP) more than 80 potential jurors were called to duty on Monday in Mason County Circuit Court in Ludington for the trial of Sean Phillips. The Victory Township man is facing an unlawful imprisonment charge in the disappearance of Katherine Phillips.
The trial is expected to last until the end of next week.
Katherine was 4 1/2 months old when she last was seen June 29, 2011, with Phillips. Katherine lived with her mother Ariel Courtland in Ludington, about 80 miles northwest of Grand Rapids.
Extensive searches haven't found the girl.
