Jackson Police Need Public Help, Tips After Shooting

Jackson Police are asking the public for help. They want tips and information concerning a shooting this morning that injured a woman in Jackson.

Sgt. Robert Jenks said a suspect shot into a home on the 900 block of South Jackson Street at 6:20 a.m. Saturday.

A woman inside was hit more than once in her torso.

She is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police do not have a description of the suspect.
