Jackson Police are investigating an armed robbery attempt at a Shell gas station on Wildwood Avenue, and are trying to determine if it is connected to two other armed robberies at that same station.
Lt. Chris Simpson says a man with a knife threatened a clerk at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
However, the man ran off when he spotted a second employee, who he had not initially noticed.
No one was hurt, and no money was taken.
Police aren't yet sure if this is connected to two other robberies at that station, one on October 27, and on October 31.
The suspect showed a knife in the first robbery, and indicated he had a knife in the second.
The suspect is between 5'10" and 6'2".
There is a $500 reward for information leading to his arrest.
