Tears fell from the face of 20-year-old Kesean Wilson as he and his half sister, 17-year-old Breanna Crawford listened to the testimonies against them. Both of them are now facing multiple charges, including armed bank robbery.

"I was pretty upset and crying rather loudly," said a teller at the Jackson City County Credit Union on Francis street. She recalls the morning of October 10, when she says Crawford distracted her before Wilson made his entrance with a mask and a gun.

"He said, I'm sorry, I have to do this for my family."

Witnesses say Wilson was emotional then, too, as he allegedly took the money and threatened this customer by holding a gun to his head: "He started crying, and he said he was sorry and that he was doing it for his family."

The two suspects got away, but police say they found Wilson nearby, after the car they allegedly got away in crashed into a house.

"We located a coat and shirt that was believed to be worn by the suspect and a money trail that lead up to the dumpster," said Sgt. Bryan Huttenlocker of the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.

While Wilson was being pulled from hiding in a dumpster, Crawford was met by police at the hospital where her interview was recorded: "My brother came in with the gun."

Admitting the two were responsible, and explaining they were trying to get money to help their mother, who is in prison.

Crawford claims they have never done anything like this before.

Police still don't believe these two had anything to do with the other Jackson robberies, happening around the same time.

A date has not been set yet for the trial.
