JACKSON -- Firefighters are calling a fire that destroyed a home in Jackson arson.
The fire broke out around 6:30 a.m. Monday in a vacant building on the 900 block of Russell Street and took around three hours to be put out.
They are ruling this as arson because there was no power hook up in the house.
The home was vacant and has now been demolished.
