The long rough winter has pushed back plans to repair two historic observation towers in the Irish Hills.
The owner told the Cambridge Township Board this week that the cold winter and deep snow has prevented crews from fixing the towers. The towers have been closed for more than a decade because they are in such bad condition.
The Irish Hills Historical Society has been given another month to make progress on the project.
