Inaugural Moneyball Tournament Wraps Up

Basketball players of all ages came together Sunday to wrap up the first ever -- and first of its kind -- Moneyball Three-on-Three Tournament.

Delta Township, Moneyball Sportswear and the Greater Lansing Sports Authority put the tournament together at the Lansing Mall.

It helped, of course, If you had game, but the only real requirement was enjoying the game."

"[It's] just local high school kids, adults, just guys who love the game of basketball that doesn't necessarily play on a professional level," said co-director Desmond Ferguson. "[It's] just a fun time for the community and everyone involved."

Forty-five teams participated in the inaugural event, which organizers say is a success.
