Lansing, (MI) - July is "National Ice Cream Month" and one local company has come out with limited edition flavors just in time for the Fourth of July.
Holland-based company Hudsonville offers many different ice cream flavors, with many ingredients that come from Michigan.
One of their newest flavors, "Summer Celebration," is particularly patriotic.
Summer Celebration is a red, white and blue mixture of raspberry sherbet, blueberry sherbet and vanilla ice cream swirls.
Hudsonville has also just come out with flavors like "Strawberry Shortcake" and "Tiger Traxx," the official ice cream of the Detroit Tigers.
But, these limited edition flavors won't be on shelves or in ice cream shops forever.
