LANSING (WILX)-- At 3 pm. churches all over the country will be ringing their bells for the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a dream," speech.
Locally,Mayor Virg Bernero will be hosting a celebration at 3 pm outside City Hall. The public is invited to attend.
The "Let Freedom Ring Parade" in East Lansing will start at 3:00 p.m. the Bailey Community Center, 300 Bailey St., and go to East Lansing City Hall, 410 Abbot Road. Community members, staff, and children will ring bells, carry signs with messages of friendship and peace.
