People looking for a way to honor Princess Lacey are asked to make a donation to a charity of their choice or contribute to other things that made a difference in Lacey's life.
The 8-year-old from St. Johns died last week after a long battle with cancer. In the last couple of years, she formed a special friendship with MSU Basketball player Adreian Payne, which drew a lot of attention from across the nation. Her family is honoring her with a special service at the Breslin Center in East Lansing at 6:30pm Thursday. The public is welcome to attend and is asked to wear bright colors to help celebrate Lacey's life.
Suggestions from the family include making a donation to the Sparrow Foundation Rehabilitation Fund or purchasing a brick with Lacey's name for the City of St. Johns Spray Park. Click the links within this article for more details on where to send your donation.
