The Capital Area Humane Society is giving pet owners a break next month. Puppies and kittens under six months old can get a spay or neuter surgery for just twenty dollars during the month of June. It's hoping the deal will help reduce the pet population, since puppies as young as five months and kittens as young as four months can get pregnant and have their first litter just two months later.
The shelter will only do 150 sterilizations in June, so appointments will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. To set up your appointment, click the hot button at wilx.com.
