Hagadorn Road will be closed between Burcham Drive and Haslett Road for road construction beginning Monday, July 7. It is expected that the closure will remain in place for approximately one week, weather permitting.

During the scheduled closure, the roadway will remain accessible to residents with driveways that connect to Hagadorn Road in the project area.

All other traffic is expected to follow the posted detours, utilizing Saginaw Street, Alton Road and Burcham Drive. The detours will be in place by 9 a.m. on Monday.

The Hagadorn-Burcham intersection will remain open; however, the north leg will be closed. A single lane closure will also be in place for eastbound Haslett Road at Hagadorn Road to allow the contractor space for curb and sidewalk ramp repairs in the southwest and southeast corners of the Hagadorn-Haslett intersection. During this time, westbound left turns from Haslett Road to southbound Hagadorn Road will not be permitted.

Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution in the area and seek alternate routes if possible.
