What started as just a slab of concrete and a wooden frame on Monday is, as of Friday, a completed home.
Habitat for Humanity of Lansing is building this home for a local family, as part of the organization's Blitz Build, where a home is built in just five days.
The family, which has two kids with disabilities, visited the house Friday and couldn't believe how fast it's come together.
"It's great," said Timothy Konwerski of Lansing. "Words can't really explain just how excited we are and it's just going to be really, really nice to be able to move in and finally be home."
Habitat is holding a special ceremony for the family on Monday. They plan on moving in in August, once the paperwork is complete.
