There's going to be new construction on three local highways this weekend.

Lanes will be closed in both directions on I-69 between Peacock Rd. and U.S. 127 in Clinton County. Concrete repairs start Friday at 9 p.m. and should wrap up Monday afternoon.

One lane of southbound U.S. 127 will be closed from Saginaw to I-496 because of bridge work Friday night. There will be a traffic shift in the same area for the next two weeks.

The off-ramps from westbound I-496 to Pennsylvania Ave. and Cedar St. are closing Friday night. The Pennsylvania ramp will reopen at 6 a.m. Monday. The Cedar ramp work should be done Saturday morning.
