Lansing (WILX) More than one hundred men and women, many of them openly carrying firearms, gathered at the state capitol Tuesday morning.
They were participating in a Second Amendment march, demonstrating their rights to lawmakers and the public.
We want people to know this is mainstream," said Terri Stocke, an organizer of the march. "This is what America was built on and they're nothing to fear."
The event was organized by the state's three larges gun organizations which are Michigan Open Carry, Michigan Gun owners and the Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners.
