Grocery Store Owner Indicted on Fraud Charges

The owner of a Lansing grocery store is facing federal fraud charges.

Aye Aye Soe, who owns the Golden Burma Asian Grocery and Gifts store on Cedar St., was indicted on charges related to a $290,000 Bridge Card scam.

The federal government says she took food stamps in exchange for cash and ineligible items. She is also suspected of accepting food stamps as repayments for loans.
